The Mayors House is about sharing an experience and when possible, eating together.

Whether you are a bunch of families that would like the kids to eat separately or a collective group that all want to sit down together in the main dining room that seats 22 – we have designed a Mayors House dining experience to fit all needs.

Winter Ski Season

Morning

To help kick start your day you will awaken to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee, pancakes drizzled with maple syrup, slow cooked porridge bubbling away and freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolate all waiting to be devoured. Eggs are cooked to order and there is always some crispy bacon or sausages…

Welcome Back

After a day of hitting the slopes there’s nothing like coming home to a table laid with warm baguettes, local cheeses and charcuterie to keep the hunger pains at bay until your evening meal is presented. Oh, and a quick welcome home cocktail never seems to be declined by our guests..

Supper

The evening meals are different. You’re ready to unwind from a hard day of enjoying yourself and our chefs aim to please. Whether you want a traditional French affair with classic French cuisine or are ready to embark on a gastronomic journey led by our Executive Chef, Theo Michaels,  you will have a night to remember.

Starters

Leeks and Trout Soufflé

Salmon and Scallop Carpaccio served with Mango and Avocado

Home-made foie Gras, mango compote and gingerbread

Sea Bass Fillet with champagne and vanilla butter sauce

Mains

Farmer chicken supreme with morel mushroom sauce

Beef fillet prepared with Mondeuse (Savoie red wine)

Duck breast fillet and its Blueberry sauce

Sea Bream fillet cooked with its home-made virgin-oil

Dessert

White chocolate and raspberry mousse mille feuille

Crème Brulée Trio ( passion fruit, vanilla and coconut flavoured)

Meringue tart with lemon mousse and strawberries

Fig and vanilla tart (in season)

Summer

The Mayors House is a truly unique property with all the facilities you could wish for on your summer vacation. 

We find that our summer bookings tend to enjoy the diversity of an in house Chef and the experience of dining in some of the beautiful mountain restaurants. We therefore look closely at what catering requirements you would require and will quote to meet your every need. 

Take as many of our catering options as you like or completely self-cater - we can look after you as little or as often as you need.
